Step 1: Design Your Plumbing System
Research on the right plumbing system scheme. Experts suggest the use of “gunite” jets if you are installing a concrete-type of tub. You can search online for possible systems you can also try at home. This should cover floor drains as well.
Step 2: Choose a reliable supplier
The supplier for the parts of your hot tub is your partner in this project. Make sure you choose a credible one. Since you are getting all the parts from them, you should ask for discounts or free installations. Research on which parts are the best and the most durable for your tub.
Step 3: Consider purchasing from outside your country.
If you cannot find the parts from your own country, you can always go for the parts from other countries. However, you will need to pay VAT for that. In this case, you may have to calculate your expenses first.
Step 4: Dig The Base Of Your Tub
Dig a hole with the measurement you have planned. You should follow the length, width and the depth. Put a plastic membrane and then prepare concrete. Fill it up with approximately 140mm of thickness. After the foundation is set, you can now work on the walls of the tub.

Step 6: Now you can install the pipes. Install the water jets first. Follow your plan for the jets. Consider the height of the jets first before installing them in. Cut a hole on the four walls of the tub to allow drain pipes. Install air and water pipes.
Step 7: Once the cement has been set, you can now add the tiles. Design the tub as you pictured it.
